Mars Residences is a twin-tower high-rise residential project in Dubai Sports City, originally launched as Rufi Twin Towers and later revitalized and rebranded by Mars Star Real Estate Development L.L.C.
Overview and History
Originally launched in April 2008 under the name Rufi Twin Towers by Rufi Properties, the construction of this development was halted in 2009 amid global financial challenges. The project was eventually acquired from Rufi Real Estate & Construction Company by Mars Star Real Estate Development L.L.C., who revitalized and rebranded the project as Mars Residences. Located in Al Hebiah Fourth, Dubai Sports City, the complex is currently in its final construction phase.
Design and Structure
The development comprises twin residential towers, each standing 20 storeys tall (comprising two basement levels of parking, a ground floor, 19 residential floors, and a common rooftop). The structural work is contracted to Belbadi Contracting Co. Ltd. (formerly Emirates Belbadi Contracting Company), with Al Waha Engineering Consultants serving as the architectural consultant.
