About Jaddaf Waterfront
Jaddaf Waterfront, historically known as Culture Village, is an upscale mixed-use creekside community in Al Jaddaf, Dubai, designed to integrate luxury residential living, hospitality, and a rich cultural arts ecosystem along Dubai Creek.
Development History and Master Plan
Launched in 2006 by master developer Dubai Properties (with initial plans linked to Sama Dubai and Dubai Holding), Jaddaf Waterfront was formerly known as Arabian Bays. The master plan spans between 3 million and 4 million square metres along the western bank of Dubai Creek. Originally designed to celebrate and preserve the traditional art, culture, and architecture of the United Arab Emirates, the community is divided into four main districts: residential, commercial, retail, and shopping. The development merges traditional wind towers and Arabesque architecture with modern smart-city infrastructure, including 5.5G connectivity rolled out in 2026.

The community is anchored by luxury landmarks, most notably the 80-storey D1 Tower—a residential skyscraper standing at 284 metres (350 metres with its spire)—and the ultra-luxury Palazzo Versace Dubai, which features 169 condominium residences, 146 hotel rooms, and 58 suites.
