Development History & Timeline
Burj Royale was officially launched by master developer Emaar Properties in November 2018. Construction on the single-tower project began in February 2019, with Al Futtaim Construction (AFC) serving as the main contractor, and Mirage Leisure and Development acting as quantity surveyors. The structure topped out and was officially completed in late 2022. The development is situated on Plot 97 along Al Ohood Street, near Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard.
Architectural Design & Structure
Designed by U+A Architects, the tower features a transition between two distinct styles: a traditional vernacular Emirati low-rise foreground that echoes the neighboring Old Town district, evolving into a contemporary high-rise glass-and-stone skyscraper. The tower contains 58 storeys above ground plus one basement level for parking. Notable structural additions include a mechanical service floor on Level 25 and an observation lounge deck on Level 53, which grants views of the surrounding landmarks.
