About Living Legends
Living Legends is an established, gated residential community in Wadi Al Safa 3, Dubailand, Dubai, featuring 500 independent villas and 12 residential towers built around a Peter Harradine-designed 9-hole golf course.
Community Master Plan
Spanning 14 million square feet in the Wadi Al Safa 3 area of Dubailand, Living Legends is a low-rise, family-oriented master development. It was originally launched in 2006 by Saudi-based developer Tanmiyat Group. The community features 500 standalone villas categorised into four distinct clusters (A, B, C, and D Villas) and 12 high-rise residential towers, offering a combined inventory of over 2,700 residential units. The entire development is built around a central, scenic nine-hole golf course.
Development History and Phase Handover
Due to the 2008 global financial crisis, the project faced significant construction halts and was restarted in 2012. Phase 1 of the development, consisting of 184 villas and a single residential tower, was powered up and handed over in June 2016. Since then, subsequent phases have been delivered. In recent years, additional third-party developers, such as Dawn Real Estate Development and Amer Al Ghurair Real Estate Development, have stepped in to construct and deliver the remaining residential towers (with handovers scheduled through 2027 and 2028).
Residential Towers and Fictional Archetypes
The 12 residential towers in the community are uniquely named after legendary or fictional characters: Aladdin, Sinbad, Ali Baba, Cleopatra, Hercules, Caesar, Queen Sheba, Napoleon, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Shakespeare. These towers range from 12 to 19 storeys, offering layouts from studios to three-bedroom apartments and penthouses. While some towers like Hercules and Cleopatra are complete, others such as Shakespeare, Queen Sheba, and Sinbad are currently under construction by third-party developers.
