If something is not working.
The install button opened my AI app but nothing happened
Some browsers block the prefilled connector window. Add it manually instead: in Claude go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector; in ChatGPT go to Settings, then Connectors. Paste https://www.propertyindex.ae/api/mcp as the server URL and follow the sign-in.
PropertyIndex© does not appear in my tools after connecting
Restart the app or start a new chat - tools load when a conversation begins. In Claude, check that PropertyIndex© is enabled in the tools menu of the composer. In ChatGPT, enable the connector for the conversation from the plus menu next to the message box.
The sign-in window never opened
Allow pop-ups for claude.ai or chatgpt.com and try connecting again. The sign-in is a normal browser window; once you approve it, the connection completes on its own.
ChatGPT will not let me add a custom connector
Custom connectors require a ChatGPT plan that supports them, and developer mode must be enabled under Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced. If the option is missing entirely, your workspace admin may have disabled connectors.
I upgraded to PIX© Pro but tools still return locked fields
Your connection was made before the upgrade, so it still carries the old access level. Remove the PropertyIndex© connector, add it again, sign in and restart the app. The fresh connection loads every tool at Pro access.
Some fields come back as locked or omitted
Signed-in free accounts receive evidence coverage and public fields. Fields marked as PIX© Pro - complete values, recent records and full analytics - need an active Pro subscription on the account you signed in with.
I signed in with the wrong account
Sign out at propertyindex.ae, remove the connector from your AI app, then reconnect and sign in with the email that holds your subscription.
My query was rejected
The query engine is bounded and read-only: no SQL, no raw database access, and very large requests are refused rather than partially answered. Ask your assistant to break the question into smaller steps - it can read the PropertyIndex© catalogue tool to learn what is queryable.
The assistant says a figure is not available for a project
When recent registered evidence is too thin, PropertyIndex© retires the figure rather than serving an old average as current. The records behind the project remain available; only the headline value is withheld.

Do I need a PIX© Pro account?
You can connect with any PropertyIndex© account. Free accounts receive evidence coverage and public fields, which is enough to see how the tools work. PIX© Pro unlocks complete values, recent DLD and Ejari records, PIX© analytics and the full query engine.
What data can my AI access?
Every registered DLD sale and Ejari rental contract in Dubai - 11M+ official records - plus PIX© values, project analytics and the PIX© market index. PropertyIndex© is approved under the Dubai Land Department’s REES initiative. No listings, no scraped data.
Is the connection safe?
Yes. Every tool is read-only, sign-in uses standard OAuth 2.1, and no database, credentials or personal data are ever exposed to your AI app. You can revoke access at any time by removing the connector.
Which apps are supported?
Claude (web, desktop and mobile), ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and any other client that supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP with OAuth.
Does the MCP server cost extra?
No. It is included with PIX© Pro at no additional cost.
Do you have an API?
The MCP server is the supported integration for AI assistants. Programmatic access is a separate PIX© API product for teams - contact us if that is what you need.
