Ghadeer Al Tair is a mixed-use residential and commercial community in Al Quoz, Dubai, formerly known as Al Quoz 2 before being officially renamed in January 2024.
History and Renaming
On January 12, 2024, municipal authorities officially renamed the community of Al Quoz 2 to Ghadeer Al Tair. Historically, the area was situated on a former landfill site but has since undergone extensive development into a premium, family-friendly residential and light commercial district.
Location and Connectivity
The community spans 5.3 square kilometers and is located on the eastern corner of Al Quoz. It borders the master community of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City (District One) and Meydan. Strategic road access is provided via Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Zayed Road (E11). In 2024, the RTA initiated the AED 700 million Al Khail Road Improvement Project, which benefits Ghadeer Al Tair by widening road infrastructure and decreasing travel times by 30%.
